Stabilizing reduced order model predictive control for constrained linear systems

Abstract: This paper considers a stabilizing reduced order model predictive control for constrained linear discrete-time systems. By employing a system decomposition on the inputoutput function space, a reduced order model predictive control law, which guarantees closedloop stability and feasibility, is obtained from a low dimensional on-line optimization problem. Numerical examples are provide...

Approximately $n$-order linear differential equations

We prove the generalized Hyers--Ulam stability  of $n$-th order linear differential equation of the form $$y^{(n)}+p_{1}(x)y^{(n-1)}+ cdots+p_{n-1}(x)y^{prime}+p_{n}(x)y=f(x),$$ with condition that there exists a non--zero solution of corresponding homogeneous equation. Our main results extend and improve the corresponding results obtained by many authors.

On the stability of linear differential equations of second order

The aim of this paper is to investigate the Hyers-Ulam stability of the  linear differential equation$$y''(x)+alpha y'(x)+beta y(x)=f(x)$$in general case, where $yin C^2[a,b],$  $fin C[a,b]$ and $-infty

Canal Identification for Fractional Linear Control Purposes

In this paper an LPV rational order control model of an irrigation canal is experimentally obtained by using the described LPV fractional identification procedure. Global LPV model is obtained from polynomial interpolation of local model parameters. Validation results demonstrate that rational order models are more accurate than integer order models. Therefore rational order models of an irriga...

Reduced basis model reduction for non linear evolution equations

This thesis deals with extensions to the reduced basis method for general non linear parametrized evolution problems. So far necessary assumptions on the underlying non linearities or the a ne separation of parameters and spatial variables are overcome by a generalization of the empirical interpolation method for discrete operators. Next to the development of the empirical operator interpolatio...
